How long do crypto payments take for hotel accommodation?

My best friend's wedding is in two months. She's flying all of her bridesmaids overseas for the ceremony, but we all have to pay for our own hotel accommodation. I have begun paying for things with crypto payments because it's easier for me and more secure (in my opinion). Can anyone tell me how long hotels take to process crypto payments?

If the hotel accepts crypto payments, chances are, they aren't doing it themselves - instead, they are using intermediaries in the form of payment gateways for crypto, like MoonPay or CoinPayments. With these intermediaries, you'll just receive a deposit address where you have to send the crypto within 3-5 hours, and they'll verify the payments for you.
In the vast majority of cases, all payments are processed within 40-60 minutes. If you use a cryptocurrency that's designed to perform fast transfers like Tether, you'll have to wait no more than 15 minutes. Bitcoin and Ethereum networks, however, could take up to an hour. Once the transfer is complete, the payment gateway sends an immediate confirmation to the hotel, and your payment will be confirmed.
