Can I avoid paying middleman fees if I pay for my rent using Bitcoin?
Paying rent from one bank account to a different bank account always leads to bank transfer fees. Would it be possible to cut out the middleman and avoid these charges if I were to pay my landlord directly using Bitcoin? I'm aware that I would need some sort of a Bitcoin payment gateway to exchange the crypto, but surely they wont be as expensive as an EFT? Although, if I could avoid the fees entirely I would.Asked 6 months ago

Would it be simpler to transfer pay using Bitcoin if I'm renting abroad?
I'm from South Africa and currently studying in Europe, and I started thinking about how crypto automatically converts to fiat currency when using Bitpay to make payments. This lead me to wonder whether it would be more efficient and cost effective to pay my rent using Bitcoin instead of having to transfer ZAR from my account through an exchange and then into my landlord's account. Can I pay rent using a Bitcoin debit card?
Hi, I'm so curious about these Bitcoin debit cards and how much one can actually do with them. I am aware that many places like online stores and restaurants are starting to accept Bitcoin as payments, which is insanely cool. Do you think one could use the card to make a direct payment into someone's traditional cheque account? If that's the case, I'm totally using my crypto to pay rent!Asked 6 months ago

Is it possible to use my bitcoin debit card to pay for utility bills?
Hi, I'm slowly starting to move from using euros to pay for everything to Bitcoin. I already have a debit card that is connected to my crypto wallet and I want to use it to pay my utility bills. I'm just not sure how it would work. Should I notify the council that I will be paying with crypto, or if I can use my card like any other Mastercard?Asked 6 months ago

Do I need a bitcoin payment service to convert it into a prepaid gift card?
I want to buy a prepaid gift card for my mother using my Bitcoin, only I'm not sure what I need to do to be able to convert my Bitcoin so that my mother can spend the money on her gift card wherever she pleases. I know that I can use a payment gateway to convert the crypto into a fiat currency without withdrawing it, but can I get it directly into a gift card? Asked 6 months ago

Can I purchase a gift card directly from my bitcoin wallet?
I want to buy a surprise gift card from DoorDash for a friend of mine who is celebrating their birthday in the U.S. I'm in S.A, so I'm hoping to be able to buy the gift card using Bitcoin directly from my wallet (I don't have the BTC debit card yet). Do you know if this is possible?Asked 5 months ago

Bitcoin wallet: Will my transaction be private if I pay for a food kit?
Good evening guys, I am someone who loves to order food kits from Blue Apron and I am really keen to try out buying them with the crypto I have accumulated, instead of using dollars. I want to pay directly from my Bitcoin wallet, but there's a hiccup: I've always been very cautious about giving out my details and even more so when it comes to Bitcoin transactions because there are so many frauds and hackers out there. How do I know if my transaction will be secure and inaccessible to an outsider? Thanks!Asked 5 months ago

Will I get a virtual Mastercard if I use Bitpay for a bitcoin wallet?
Hi Do you know how a banking app allows you to pay with a virtual debit card on your phone? I would love to have the same kind of access with my crypto. I learned that I could use Bitpay as a place to store my crypto and use it to order food deliveries or shop online. I would, however, prefer to maintain my privacy and tap a card, rather than giving out my details. Any advice would be great. Thanks!Asked 5 months ago

Can I use a Bitpay debit card to pay for Uber Eats food delivery?
My friend bought me a prepaid uber eats gift card with Bitcoin. Which as sparked my interest in getting a Bitcoin VISA card that I can use to pay for different things, including online shopping and various food services. I'm worried that I get the card and then I can't actually order from DoorDash or Uber Eats. Do any of you know whether this would be doable?Asked 5 months ago
