Editorial policy

What we publish and how we know it
- Licences come from regulators’ own public registers where we can read them (for example ASIC, FINRA BrokerCheck and CySEC), otherwise from the platform’s own legal disclosures.
- Country rules are quoted from the regulator’s own pages or legislation.
- Fees and features are quoted from the platform’s own pricing, legal and help pages.
- Every fact carries its source link, the exact quote and the date we read it. A record cannot be saved if the quote is not on the saved page.
What we don’t do
- We don’t open funded accounts or claim hands-on testing. Our method is research-based.
- We never fill a gap with a guess: anything we haven’t verified shows as “Not verified yet”.
- We don’t accept payment for ratings, positions or reviews.
Ratings
The Editor Rating is computed by formula from verified facts, with thresholds published on How we rate. Market Signal is computed from Ahrefs and Semrush data and never changes a rating. Lists are ordered by the Coinish Score: half Editor Rating, half Market Signal.
Freshness and corrections
Facts older than 60 days are flagged as possibly outdated. If you spot an error, including a platform that has changed its terms, tell us via Contact & corrections; we re-check against the source and update the page with a new date.
Use of AI tools
We use AI tools to help collect pages, extract candidate facts and draft text. Every published fact is checked against its saved source by our verification rules (the exact quote must appear in the source), and ratings are computed by formula, not by an AI’s judgement.
