Privacy policy

Last updated Oct 13, 2026

This policy explains what information Coinish (coinish.com) handles when you use the site. The site is operated by Search Enabled Marketing Solutions, which is responsible for your information. In short: there are no accounts, no sign-ups and no advertising cookies, and analytics cookies are set only if you accept them.

Information we handle

  • Server logs. Like any website, our hosting provider receives technical information when you load a page: your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page and the time. It’s used to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix errors.
  • Your country. To show the rankings that apply where you live, the page asks our server which country your connection comes from. The answer comes from a country code our hosting provider adds to each request. We don’t store it. Your browser keeps it for the current tab only.
  • Your country choice. If you pick a country yourself, a preference cookie remembers it so you don’t have to choose again.
  • Analytics. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 uses a cookie ID to record the pages you visit, how you reached the site, and your approximate location, device and browser. If you reject it or don’t choose, no cookie or identifier is set: Google Analytics receives only cookieless signals (page, time, browser and device type), which we use to estimate overall visit numbers. We use analytics only in aggregate, to see which pages are useful. Google signals and ad personalisation are turned off.
  • Messages you send us. When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, the topic you chose and what you write, plus your IP address to prevent abuse. The message reaches us by email, and we use it only to reply and to deal with your request. To check that a person is sending the form, it uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes technical information about your browser and connection for that purpose only.

Cookies

We use one preference cookie, coinish_country, and it’s set only when you choose a country. Google Analytics cookies are set only if you accept analytics, and you can change that choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer. We don’t use advertising, retargeting or social-media tracking. The full list is on our cookies page.

When you follow a link to a trading platform, that site may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy.

How we use information

To run and secure the site, show you the right country’s rankings, fix problems and answer your messages. We don’t sell or rent personal information, and we don’t use it for advertising profiles.

Who we share it with

Only service providers that run the site for us and process information on our behalf: our hosting provider, our email provider, Cloudflare (the security check on the contact form) and Google (Google Analytics). We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the site and its users from abuse.

How long we keep it

Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting, then deleted by the hosting provider. Google Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account (at most 14 months) and then deleted by Google. Emails are kept as long as we need them to deal with your message and keep a record of the conversation. You can ask us to delete them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example in the EU, the UK or California), you can ask to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, object to or restrict how we use it, or ask for a copy. Contact us through our contact form and we’ll respond within the time the law requires. We don’t sell or “share” personal information as those terms are defined under California law.

If you’re in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

International transfers

Our service providers may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards they provide, such as standard contractual clauses or certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Children

Coinish is about trading and investing and isn’t directed at anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and the date above.
